William “Wink” Everett Hale, 60 of Cabool, MO went to be with his heavenly family on February 28, 2022 surrounded by his friends and family. He was born on November 3, 1961 the son of Eugene Everett and Donna Faye (Grogan) Hale.
Wink attended Cabool schools and lived most of his life in Cabool. He never knew a stranger and was always a good time. Wink was quite the conversationalist and loved spending time outdoors and with his friends and family.
Wink was a trucker at heart, that went by “Running Bear”. He was one of a kind; he’d drive a regular vehicle just as he did a semi, fast and hard. He was passionate about a lot of things, especially his family, grandchildren, his dogs, NASCAR and semis. He loved watching his son, Jesse playing ball of any sort; he was his best friend and pride and joy. They shared the love of NASCAR and went to several races together.
Wink loved his grandchildren so much, there wasn’t very many times he didn’t have at least one of them. You couldn’t scare him with babysitting; they’d be spoiled and dirty faced when they were ready to go home.
Wink had been married to Elizabeth for the past 20 years and she is the love of his life; he would go to the ends of the earth and back for her, they were a match made in heaven.
Wink was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Donna Hale and an infant brother, Steven. [egcfuneralhome.com]
