Funeral services for Raymond "Mose" House, 89, Willow Springs, Missouri will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains, Missouri.
Mr. House passed away Saturday evening, August 17, 2013.
He was born May 8, 1924 at Elijah, Missouri, to Walter E. and Fannie Mae (Howerton) House. He was joined in marriage to Joyce Nadine Pleasant at Mtn. Home, Arkansas, August 20, 1949. The majority of their married life was spent in Willow Springs, Missouri, where they enjoyed raising their two sons, Reggie and Mark. Mose worked hard all of his life in numerous capacities including logging, crop harvesting in Kansas and California, fishing guide, and retired after almost 30 years as a Driver Examiner with the Missouri State Highway Patrol. He loved people and never met a stranger, especially those who enjoyed a good hunting tale involving a big gobbler or buck. He had a special passion for his family and grandchildren, his horses and cattle, hunting, gardening, and the St. Louis Cardinals. He was a member of the Curry Street Church of Christ in West Plains.
He is survived by his wife Nadine of the family home; two sons, Reggie, wife, Danette, West Plains, Missouri and Mark, wife, Marian, Nixa, Missouri; three grandchildren, Suzanna Kimes, husband, Chris, West Plains, Missouri, Cameron and Brady House, Nixa, Missouri; one sister, Imogene Bowen, husband, Bill, Springfield, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Arley, Joe, Bryce, and Gerald and three sisters, Geneva Saucerman, Leona "Peach" Walker, and Bonnie Wright.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery in Pomona, Missouri. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made Fair Haven Children's Home and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Funeral services for (Joyce) Nadine House, 93, of Willow Springs, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, in the Langston Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home in West Plains, Missouri. Mrs. House passed away Wednesday morning, January 18, 2023.
Mrs. House was born near Tecumseh, Missouri on June 30, 1929, to A.A. and Nova Pleasant. She was joined in marriage to (Raymond) Mose House at Mountain Home, Arkansas, on August 20, 1949. They spent the majority of their married life in Willow Springs, Missouri, where they enjoyed raising their two sons, Reggie and Mark. She was employed as an executive secretary at Willow Springs Schools, Rawlings, and West Plains Schools. She had a special passion for her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cooking, and the St. Louis Cardinals. She was a member of the Curry Street Church of Christ in West Plains.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mose House, parents, A.A. and Nova Pleasant, brother, Earl Junior Pleasant, and sister, Jo Rich.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, January 25, from 1:00-2:00 PM at the Langston Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home in West Plains, Missouri. Services will be held at 2:00 with interment immediately following at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery in Pomona, Missouri.
