NOEL, Mo. — Jesse R. "Skud" Pendergraft, 66, of Noel died Jan. 1, 2006, at Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville. He was born Jan. 22, 1939, near Brush Creek to Jesse and Eva Mae Chrisman Pendergraft. He was a graduate of White Rock High School and was an Army veteran. He worked for O'Brien Farms for 25 years, and in 1992 went to work for Simmons Industries in Jane, Mo., where he worked until 2000. His interests included square dancing, baseball, hunting and fishing. He married Pat Haisman, on April 30, 1968.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Pat Pendergraft of the home; two daughters, Lavetta Pendergraft of Noel and Katina Raney and husband Eric of Noel; one son, Charles Haden Pendergraft of Noel; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mabel Wilkerson of Bentonville and Elsie Davis of Centerton.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Ozark Funeral Home in Pineville, Mo., with Jamey Cope officiating.
Burial with military honors will be in Brush Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Donald Baker, Aaron Sherman, Boone Harper, Daniel McKinney, Jimmy Slinkard and Jody Townsend.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Davis, Phil Wilkerson and Mitch Pendergraft.
Memorials may be made to Brush Creek Cemetery Care Fund, c/o the funeral home.

Mrs. Pat Pendergraft, 69, of Noel, Missouri, departed this life suddenly on Thursday morning, August 8, 2013, near her home after being swept off Highway 90 by raging floodwaters. Pat entered this life on March 8, 1944 in Estherville, Iowa, one of nine children born to the late John James and Mildred Rose (Fisher) Haisman. She was raised in Verndale, Minnesota and was a 1962 graduate of Verndale High School. On April 30, 1968 she was united in marriage to Jesse R. "Skud" Pendergraft and to this union two daughters and one son were born. She and Jesse moved to Noel, Missouri in 1968. She worked for O'Brien Egg Plant from 1968-1973. For the last thirty-three years she has been employed by Simmons Industries at the Jane Hatchery. She enjoyed quilting, square dancing and word search puzzles. Pat was a devote Catholic throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of thirty-seven years, Jesse Pendergraft on January 1, 2006; and three brothers, Charles, Johnny and Jerry Haisman. Pat is survived by three children, Lavetta Pendergraft, Katina Raney and husband, Eric, and Charles Haden Pendergraft all of Noel, Missouri; four grandchildren, Abigayle Pendergraft and fiancé, Ben Collins, James Haden Raney, Jesse Lynn Raney, and Bert Haden Williams; three brothers, Joe Haisman of Verndale, Minnesota, Harry Haisman of Decatur, Arkansas and Frank Haisman of Staples, Minnesota; two sisters, Elsie Wells of St. Paul, Minnesota and Hazel Goldey of Macon, Georgia; a sister-in-law, Elsie Davis of Centerton, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends. Funeral Mass for Mrs. Pendergraft will be held on Wednesday morning, August 14, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church in Noel, Missouri with Father Hank Grodecki, C.M. officiating. Burial will follow in the Brush Creek Cemetery near Noel, Missouri. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Donald Baker, Boone Harper, Danny McKinney, Ben Collins, Dale Blevins and Robert Evenson. Bert Williams, James Raney and Lee Davis will be serving as honorary pallbearers. A Rosary service is set for 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website www.ozarkfuneralhome.com.
