Wilma Bernice Blevins Hudson, 94 years, of Pineville, Missouri was called to heaven on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the McDonald County Nursing Center in Anderson, Missouri.
Wilma was born on July 24. 1923 in the Jane Community to the late Ernest and Fannie (McCool) Blevins. She married Leo Benjamin Hudson on October 7, 1940 in Jane, Missouri. She raised her family in Jane/Pineville area. Wilma worked at the first Wal-Mart store in Bentonville, Arkansas retiring in 1976. She enjoyed sewing, horses and taking long walks. She truly loved her dogs especially her big yellow dog, Yellar. Wilma was a faithful member of the House of Prayer in Pineville, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leo Hudson; two grandchildren, Billy Ellison and Shirla Lynn Cope; one great grandchild, Melissa Ellison; a brother, Darrell Blevins; three sons-in-law, James Cope, Ronnie Rowland, Dayne Creason,; a daughter-in-law, Betty Hudson.
Wilma is survived by her five children, Olen Hudson, Dewayne Hudson and wife, Connie, Shirley Milleson and husband, Bill, Geraldine Hudson, Sharlene Bone and husband, Rocky, all of Pineville, Missouri; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Wilma will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. Pastor Jamey Cope will officiate. Visitation will be held from Noon until service time on Tuesday in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home, the family will receive friends at this time.
