Lillian Elizabeth Zvacek Johnson, age 93, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, formerly of Holden, passed away Friday April 8, 2022, at the Pleasant Hill Health & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Lillian Elizabeth Leavy on October 17, 1928 in Kingsville, MO, the daughter of Louis and Myrtle (Gosney) Leavy.

Lillian attended Lincoln Rural Grade School, Kingsville High School and Central Missouri State Teachers College in Warrensburg.

She began teaching at Pleasant View Rural School, south of Holden.

She also was a substitute teacher in the Holden School District for several years and retired from Gates Battery Company of Warrensburg, MO in 1993.

She married Vernon Leo Zvacek in Knob Noster, Missouri on January 10, 1953.

He preceded her in death in 1993. She married Isaac Johnson in 1997.

He preceded her in death in 2011. Lillian is survived by a daughter, Ann (Jeff) Miller of Holden, MO; and a son, Stephen (Julie) Zvacek of Lee's Summit, MO; grandchildren, Scott Miller (Daniel) of Kansas City, Douglas Zvacek of Lee's Summit, and Kathryn (Andrew) Snow of Lee's Summit; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Jeffrey Hall, June and Sam Zvacek, Otto and Luna Snow, all of Lee's Summit; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Leavy and Arygle Leavy; and one sister, Lovena Wolfenbarger.

A graveside service was held at the Holden Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 12, with Pastor Rob Allen of Holden United Methodist Church officiating.
