Dorcas Ann Williams, 88, Holden, died Tuesday, Jan 8, 1885 at Johnson County Memorial Hospital, Warrensburg. Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan 11 at Ben Cast & Son-Wood Funeral Home, Holden, Clergyman was Robert Stewart, Gene Ferguson was the soloist and Mrs. Charles Schryer was organist. Pallbearers were Duane Williams, Chester E. Williams, Dale Williams, Don Hartwell, Buster Saling, Hooker Williams, Jr. Burial was in the Holden Cemetery. Mrs. Williams was born in Independence on May 23, 1896, the daughter of John G. and Elizabeth Cumiary Saling and lived in Holden most of her life. She was married to Roy B. Williams in Kansas City on Nov. 1, 1923. Mr. Williams proceeded her in death on Feb 19, 1983. Mrs. Williams was Baptist. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Holden Progress
