Sarah Emeline Carson,75, Holden Missouri, passed away January 5, 2018 at her home. Sarah was born February 21, 1942 to Hirum Colvin Clark and Etta Emeline (Leggett) Clark in Bellvediere, IL. She graduated from Holden High School in 1959 and married Raymond Leland Carson August 30, 1960 in Long Beach, California. He preceded her in death March 25, 1999. Also preceding her in death are two brothers Henry Clark and John Pierson, and one sister Ann Clark.
Sarah is survived by one son, Walter Carson, Lee's Summit, MO; two daughters, Cindy Dameron and husband Chris Spring Valley, CA and Julie Carson-Smith and husband Melvin, Holden MO; one brother Laverne Clark and wife Connie, Arkansas, one sister Loretta Chapman, Colorado; thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Memorial contributions can be made to Twin Lakes Hospice in memory of Sarah E. Carson. Graveside services will be 10:00am Monday January 8, 2018 at Holden Cemetery, with Pastor Tim Whitmore officiating.
