Jimmie Patricia “Patty” Davidson, age 79, of Butterfield, Missouri, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 west of Monett, Missouri.

She was born March 17, 1939 in Newton County, Missouri the daughter of Jim and Viola (Carterman) Linley. On January 5, 1957 in Cassville, Missouri she was united in marriage to Vern Kelly Davidson, who preceded her in death on October 16, 2016. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Jimmy Davidson; one brother, Ray Eden and two sisters, Geraldine Houck and Margie Allcock.

Surviving are two sons, Ricky Davidson and his wife, Louwayne of Hays, Kansas and Roger Davidson and his wife Marsha of Purdy, Missouri; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Patty graduated from high school with the Class of 1957 in Cassville. She spent most of her married life in Butterfield where she was currently living. Over twenty years she and Vern owned and operated Patricia’s Kennels. She was a member of Butterfield Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Cassville under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.

Contributions may be made to Haven of the Ozarks in memory of Patty.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville Chapel.

Vern received his education at Mineral Springs rural school. For several years he worked at Justin Boot, Jumping Jack Shoes, Tyson, Georges and was a cook. For twenty years he owned and operated Vertricia Dog Kennel which he loved. He was especially partial to Blue Boy, Missey, Roxie and Pooch. Some of his favorite pastimes were fishing, hunting, gardening and being around family. He was a member of Butterfield Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, two sons, two brothers, one sister, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one son, Jimmy.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, October 20, 2016. Pastor Tony Ball conducted the services. Burial at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Cassville.
