CALVIN J. RUSSELL
CASSVILLE — Calvin J. Russell, 38, of Monrovia, Calif., a former resident of Cassville, died Monday night in a hospital at Sierra Madre, Calif., after a long illness.
A 1949 graduate of Cassville High School, Mr. Russell had moved to Monrovia eight years ago. He had been employed as supervisor for the Beatrice Food Company there.
Surviving are his wife, Gwondlen Marcelean (Jo) Russell; a son, Edgar J., of the home; his mother, Mrs. Lora Loftin, Cassville; and two brothers Doyle of Crane, and Lavon of Purdy.
Also surviving are four stepbrothers: Allen Loftin, North Fork, Calif., Ben, Reeds Spring, James, Verona, and Bud, Kansas City; and a stepsister Mrs. Milda Kepler, Sacramento, Ca.
Arrangements are under direction of Culver of Cassville.
