Effie Lena Brock, 95, Neosho, died at 3:55 a.m. December 18, 1996, at Medicalodge after a short illness.
She was born November 6, 1901 in Granby and was a lifelong area resident. She was a homemaker and housewife. Mrs. Brock was a member of the First Christian Church.
She married Carl Franklin Brock and he preceded her in death on May 11, 1975. Three sons also preceded her in death; Carl Brock, Jr., Vurl Brock and James G. Brock.
She is survived by one daughter, Bernice Chubb, San Jose, Calif., 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday with Rev. Clement Graham officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, south of Stella.
Arrangements under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
