WOODS, Mrs. Chroshee D. (nee Chewning), wife of Joshua Woods, was born in Louisa Co, Va., May 18, 1806. She was twice married; first to E.N. Starr, and second, to Joshua Woods, in Lincoln Co, Ill., Nov 28, 1830. She died at their residence in Lawrence Co, Mo. on July 31, 1881. They had lived there for 4 years. Her husband was also married twice. Two sons of his and one daughter of their first marriages are still living. Other children were born to them, and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. By J.M.
