Mrs. Effie V. Ruddick, 77, Webb City, died at 2:10 p.m. Sunday at Freeman Hospital in Joplin where she had been a patient for one day.
Mrs. Ruddick was born March 5, 1893, at Seligman and had lived in Webb City for the last 15 years. She was a member of the Webb City Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Letha Holtz of San Diego, Calif.; four brothers, D.A. Roller of Washburn, L.B. Roller of Seligman, Fay Roller of South Gate, Calif., and Ray Roller of Paramount, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Maud Henbest of Cassville, Mrs. Presh Montgomery o Joplin, and Mrs. Bonnie Arnhart of San Diego, Calif.; one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.
Services for Mrs. Ruddick will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Culver Funeral Chapel with Rev. Charles Vanzandt officiating. Burial will be in the New Salem Cemetery near Seligman.
