SARCOXIE - Paula K. Bartelsmeyer, 81, Rolla, former resident of Sarxoxie and Monett died at 8:35 a.m. Monday at a Rolla nursing home after an extended illness. Born April 5, 1911, near Freistatt, she moved and 1 an half years ago from Sarcoxie to Rolla. A member of Sarcoxie Presbyterian Church, she resided earlier at Monett. She was married July 13, 1933, at Mount Vernon to Lincoln Bartelsmeyer. He died Nov. 29, 1962. Surviving are two daughters Juanita Mermoud and Paula Kay Best, a brother Robert Deschner a sister Meta Worm, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were scheduled at 3 p.m. today at the Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery near Mount Vernon.
