Juanita Louise Neill, 103, of Purdy, MO went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Aurora Nursing Center in Aurora. She was born on June 16, 1911 in Barry County, MO, the daughter of the late Fletcher & Amy {Bennett} Dodson. She was united in marriage on April 7, 1929 in Wheaton, MO to Chester S. Neill; he preceded her in death on August 5, 1986.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Easyville Fundamental Methodist Church.
Juanita is survived by her two sons: Don Neill and his wife Pat of Verona, and Lee Neill and his wife Darlene of Monett; three sisters: Irene Pennel and Edwinna Terry both of Aurora, and Betty Schnaible of Lodi, California; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by both her parents: Fletcher and Amy; her husband Chester; her only daughter: Norma Bernadine Neill in 1940; three brothers: Hurbert Dodson, Paul Dodson, and Bill Dodson and one sister: Pearl Ebersold.
Funeral services were held on Monday, June 23, 2014 at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Chapel in Monett with Rev. Ronnie Howerton and Rev. Lee Neill officiating. Burial and graveside services were held at the Crane Cemetery in Crane, MO.
Memorial donation for Juanita may be made to the Berean Christian Academy in Monett, MO.
