DEATH CLAIMS AN INFANT
Bobby Dale Medearis, only child of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Medearis, living southwest of this city, passed away Sunday, October 31, at Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, at the age of eight months and three days.
The little one was taken ill earlier in the week with a bowel obstruction and upon advice of the physician in attendance was taken to Kansas on Friday, where emergency treatment was given but to no avail and the spirit of the little one winged its flight to Him who said "Suffer little children to come unto Me."
The body was brought to the home of the parents on Sunday night and on Tuesday morning funeral services were held at the Baptist Church here, conducted by Rev. G.A. Moss, in the absence of the pastor, Rev. Boatright. Burial was made in the City Cemetery.
