Novella Webb, daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary Ann Turner, was born November 13, 1914 in Oxford, Arkansas. She passed away January 17, 2016 in Springfield at the age of 101 years, 2 months, and 4 days. Novella was raised in Oxford as a child. She later worked in the cotton fields, in the Bootheel, near Senath, along side of her husband, Homer, and all her children. She liked to go to church, sew, crochet, cook and make quilts. In her later years she was not as active, but she liked to play bingo, ring toss and watch TV.
Novella had a full life, at 101 years old. She saw a lot of things and people come and go in that period of time. Her sons, Floyd, Franklin and daughter Velta, preceded her in death. Veda, Rosetta, Radene, Orby, Jerry and Eugene are still here to carry on. She also had many, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She will be missed by all her family and friends...
