SHELL KNOB, Mo. — Sue Rhoads, 65, died April 20, 2007, at her home in Shell Knob, Mo.

She was born July 13, 1941, to Roy and Gene Ennis Thomas near Jenkins, Mo.

She married Jim Rhoads on July 11, 1961, in Kansas City, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Bobby Rhoads on March 28, 1977; and sisters Thelma Rhoads and Velma Plotner.

Survivors include her husband; son David Rhoads of Shell Knob; daughter Janette Stansbury and husband Rick of Cassville, Mo.; brother John Thomas of Thorton, Colo.; sisters, Mary Lovell of Edmond, Okla., Wilma Greek of Washburn, Mo., Doris Rasa of Lexington, Mo., Connie Gorges of Wichita, Kan., and Margret Thomas of Pueblo, Colo.; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the White Funeral Home in Cassville with Wayne Leer officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Shell Knob. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Pallbearers will be David Rhoads, Rick Rhoads, Chris Henry, Jeff Henry, Matt Cox, and John Downey. Her nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to the Shell Knob Shrine Club Travel Fund and may be entrusted with the funeral home.

Arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home of Cassville.
