Gary Reavis, 54, son of the late Leonard Reavis and Anita (Bennett) Reavis, was born June 15, 1969 in St. Louis, Missouri and passed away January 15, 2024 in Springfield, Missouri.
Gary loved spending time with family and friends. He lived life to the fullest; jeeping with his wife, vacationing with his children and camping with his best friends. His world revolved around his granddaughters; going to their every ball game, race, and concert. Gary was known for his "need for speed"; cruising the sand dunes, riding trails at Cloud 9, and climbing Colorado mountains in his side by side. He also loved to help his community and neighbors by volunteering on the Peace Valley White Church Fire Department for thirty-six years. Anytime someone needed a helping hand Gary was there. And of course, he loved the hard work on his farm.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Anita Reavis; brother, Kent Reavis; mother and father-in-law, Sherry and John Schulz, and nephew Zach Clinton.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, Missouri, from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m.
