Wanda Lee (Colbert) Myers, a resident of Willow Springs, MO passed away at her home Thursday, July 20, 2023. She was born September 19, 1942, in West Plains, MO to Leon and Bessie (Carrell) Colbert and was 80 years old.
Wanda graduated from West Plains High School and found work at the Conway-Winter Shoe Factory as a stitcher. She married the love of her life George Myers on August 28, 1965, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Willow Springs, a church she has faithfully attended for many years. She loved to drag race against men and has won many trophies. In her free time, she enjoyed being a part of the Active Older Adults program at the YMCA, volunteering at the Willow Care Nursing Home doing arts and crafts, attending Catholic Mass with her church family, watching Western movies, especially "Gunsmoke", Rock and Roll swing dancing, listening to Elvis Presley, and spending time with her pets. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Bessie; her brother, James Linthicum; and her sister, Gladys Smith.
