Reminents of a broken stone beside Verne Everette Cochenour appear to be a stone for his ex-wife, Mary Dial Cochenour. In 1996 a partial inscription was visible that was transcribed at that time as _a__ ___ ocr___ 19_1. No death record can be found on Mary Cochenour. From news clippings we know she was living in the area when her father died in 1937.
