Death at County Farm Mrs. Martha Leaper, a negro woman who formerly resided in this city, died at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the county almshouse. She was 54 years old, and death was due to paralysis. She had been at the county farm since last July and had been sat invalid since some time before she went there, having suffered a stroke of paralysis which rendered her helpless. Two sons of the dead woman, James and Falcon Leaper, resided in Carthage. A daughter, Gertrude Leaper, who is an inmate at the almshouse, is also an invalid. The body was buried this morning.
