Obit: MOTHER DIES AT POOR FARM Consumption's Victim Will Not Long Survived by Baby. Mrs. Hattie Thompson of Carthage, aged 24 years, died at the county poor farm this morning at 8 o'clock. She has long been sufferer from the "white plague" and it was this disease which ended her life. The deceased had only been an inmate at the farm for two weeks. She leaves a husband, Harry Thompson, and two boys, one three years old and the other a baby of seven months. The latter has contracted consumption from its mother and, it is said, can live but a short time. The family lived in old sheds about town until the mother and children went to the almshouse. Infant Son of Harry and Hattie Thompson. See above obit. The child is probably buried at Fair Acres as well. Probably Patient # 1130

Lisa May Thompson
1908 – 2 Apr 1909
Patient # 1130
This was probably meant to be the son of Hattie and Harry given the obit. The Obit states they had 2 sons, the youngest of which passed a short time after Hattie.
