Funeral services were held Thursday for Mrs. Jimmie Eugene Gilmer of Cooter.
Born in Dyer County, Tenn., August 20, 1889, she was the daughter of Jimmie Eugene and Elmyra Featherstone Hall.
Mrs. Gilmer died November 22, 1966 at the hospital in Hayti. She had lived in this community for 42 years.
Services were at Holly Grove Baptist Church in Cooter, Rev. J.E. Cooper and Rev. Joe Smith officiating.
Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery, German Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were O.D. Bond, Clint Bond, Charles "Doc" Barger, William Barger, Murrell Walker, and Charles Hollingsworth.
