Mrs. Mary N. Arnold, born February 18, 1882, in Benton County, Tenn., died June 17, 1973, at the Chickasawba Hospital in Blytheville.
Mrs. Arnold, 91, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Scott. She had been a resident of this community for more than 40 years.
She leaves five sons: Marvin Arnold and Dale Arnold of East St. Louis, Ill., William Arnold of Sparta, Ill., Harvey Arnold of Campbell, Mo., and Pink Arnold of Camden, Tenn.; three daughters, Ella Reynolds and Mrs. Dicie Rinehart of Steele, and Mrs. Edna Jackson of Caruthersville; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 19, 1973, aat 3:00 p.m. at the John W. German Funeral Home in Steele with the Rev. Fred Albright officiating.
Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Steele with John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Pike, Lloyd Booker, Johnnie Carter, Wilburn Clark, Tommy Privett.
