Paul “Tray” Goodman Jr., 43, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan. He was born Jan. 12, 1967, in St. Louis, son of Paul “Bud” and Betty Louise McKinney Goodman. He grew up in Houston and attended schools in Springfield, Rogersville and Houston. He also attended Linn Tech Mechanic School for a year. He worked at HD Lee in Houston and Lebanon. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and loved playing cards, especially hearts, spades, poker and Texas hold ‘em. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his mother, Betty Goodman. Survivors include his wife, Crystal Claybrook Goodman of Ozark; four sons, Devon Magruder of Nixa and Dustin Crews, Dylan Crews and Paul Daniel Goodman of the home in Ozark; a daughter, Natasha Goodman of Yukon; his father, Paul “Bud” Goodman of Republic; two brothers, Michael Goodman of Caraway, Ark., and Patrick Goodman of Republic; two sisters, Paula Gift of St. Charles and Melinda Goodman of Seymour; and a stepsister, Audrey Collins of Willow Spring. Services were Saturday, Nov. 13, at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Daylon Troutt officiating. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery. [Houston Herald]

Paul “Daniel” Goodman, 4, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at his grandparents’ home in Nixa. He was born June 11, 2006, in Springfield. He enjoyed the movie “Cars” and watching wrestling, Dukes of Hazard and Sponge Bob. He loved going to his school, “Tiger Paws,” and playing with his friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul “Tray” Goodman; and his grandmother, Betty Goodman. Survivors include mother, Crystal Goodman of Ozark; three brothers Devon Magruder of Nixa and Dustin and Dylan Crews of the home; a sister, Natasha Smith of Eunice; his grandparents; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Services were Monday, Nov. 29, at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Carter officiating. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery. [Houston Herald]
