Coney Burl Coleman, well known farmer of Holland and vicinity, died at the Walls Hospital Monday, following a short illness. He was 42.

Funeral services will probably be conducted at the family residence in Holland Friday at 3:00 o'clock by Rev. Marvin Niblack, pastor of the Methodist Church, Mt. Zion will be the place of burial.

Mr. Coleman is survived by his wife, Mrs. Fern Coleman; two sons Joe Coleman of Holland and P. A. Coleman of Morgan City, La., five sisters; Mrs. L. Berry, Holland, Mrs. Noble Capehart, Holland, Mrs. Byron Holly, Holland, Mrs. Paul Cooper, Cooter, and Mrs. Ray Walker of Long Beach, Calif.

German Undertaking Co. is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Fern Lydia Coleman, 84, died Monday, January 15, 1990 at the Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, Fla.
Daughter of the late Joshua and Georgia Smith Best, she was born October 19, 1905 at Sikeston, Mo.
Mrs. Coleman was a homemaker.
The widow of Mr. C.B. Coleman, she was also preceded in death by a son, Joe Coleman.

She leaves a son, P.A. Coleman of Brownsville, Texas; three sisters: Mrs. Geneva Land of Lakeland, Mrs. Wanda Kienspra of St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Ruth Edwards of Lakeland; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial services for Mrs. Coleman were held Friday, January 19, 1990 at 10:00 a.m. at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Steele, Mo., with burial at Mount Zion Cemetery near Steele.
Pallbearers were Pinnell Capehart, Gary Coleman, Kenneth Berry, Sonny Berry, Joe Byron Holly, and Stephen Kienspra.
