Thursday, June 10, 1976
David Lee Redden, age 16, was killed Thursday, June 3, 1976 on Interstate 55 near Blytheville after being struck by a mobile home while stopped to fix a flat.
Authorities said Redden was struck by a mirror on the truck hauling the mobile home and by the home itself.
Redden was born October 5, 1959 to Mary Wallace Redden and Charles Elco Redden.
Services were held Saturday, June 5, 1976 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the German-Aumon Funeral Home at Steele with the Rev. David Hart officiating.
In addition to his parents, he leaves one sister, Mildred Burnham of Portageville; and four brothers: Carroll Redden, Donnie Redden and Charles Redden, all of Steele, and Denny Redden of Caruthersville.
Interment was in Mount Zion Cemetery with the German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements. Cousins were pallbearers.
