Mary Hester Wallace Redden. 76, of Steele, died Monday, Nov. 15, 2004, at the Pemiscot Memorial Health Systems in Hayti, Mo.
Born June 11, 1928, in Keiser, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Nathan Clint Wallace and Mary Elizabeth Singleton Wallace.
She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
Mrs. Redden leaves six sons: Danny Redden and his wife Janie, Don Redden and his wife Rosemary, Glenn Redden and his wife Debra and Michael Redden, all of Steele, and Junior Redden and Kenny Redden, both of Clarkton, Mo.; Four daughters; Mildred Burnham and her husband Donnie of Caruthersville, Mo., and Glenda Redden, Linda Wellington and Sarah Beth Bailey, all of Clarkton; Forty-three grandchildren; Forty-eight great-grandchildren; and Three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Redden were held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, at the Bradshaw-Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Steele with the Rev. Jason Anderson officiating.
Burial was at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with Bradshaw-Powell Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
