Dunn Lynn Redden, 58, of Blytheville, Ark., died Monday, April 2, 2012 in Memphis, Tenn.

Born February 13, 1954 in Gideon, Mo., he is the son of Elco Redden and the late Mary Hester Wallace Redden.

Dunn was united in marriage to Rosemary Wellington on August 20, 1971 in New Madrid.

He was a carpenter, auto mechanic and of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Redden leaves his wife, Rosemary Redden, of the home; his father and step-mother, Elco and Rosella Redden, of Clarkton; one daughter, Joyce Marie Herron, of Huffman, Ark.; seven sons: Jimmy Wayne Cagle and Stacey, Donnie Dewayne Redden and Nathan Lynn Redden of Blytheville, James William Redden and Roger Don Redden and Tracey of Doniphan, Gary Lynn Redden and Jessica of Portageville and Scotty Earl Redden of Jonesboro, Ark.; five brothers: Danny Redden and Janie of Steele, Glen Redden and Debra of Tyler, Charles Redden of Clarkton, Kenny Redden and Betty of Doniphan and Michael Redden and Vickie of Braggadocio; four sisters: Mildred Burnham and Donnie, Caruthersville and Glenda Redden, Linda Wellington and Jerry and Sarah McCloud and Terry of Clarkton; and 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Redden were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 5 at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Steele with Rev. Lawrence Gibbons officiating.

Burial was at the Mount Zion Cemetery in Steele.

Pallbearers were Jacob Vest, Kenny Redden, Gary Stubblefield, Gary Hayes, Leedale Redden and Alan Boone.
