Mrs. Cora Mae Collins, 98, of Cabool, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2008, at Kabul Nursing Home in Cabool.
She was born on September 7, 1910 in Cabool, the daughter of the late Taylor and Luella (Huffman) Ford.
She was united in marriage to Rev. Charlie Collins on July 11, 1927 and to this union three children were born. Mae was a loving mother and grandmother; she especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a dedicated minister's wife for 64 years.
Mae was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 64 years, Charlie; her son, Junior; and eight brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Lou Taulbee of Licking, Missouri; her son, Jim of Cabool; her stepdaughter, Audrey Akers of Springfield, Missouri; her sister, Mary Tooley of Hartville, Missouri; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2008, at Cabool Cemetery with Rev. Scott Williamson officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home of Cabool. [Cabool Enterprise]
