Eva Sarah (Stovall) White passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Willow Health Care. She spent all of her 99 years and 8 months as a resident of the Willow Springs area. Eva was born May 2, 1915 in Hutton Valley, MO to Ella (Kentch) Stovall and Thomas Hart Benton Stovall. On October 10, 1931 she was united in marriage to Loyd White at Hutton Valley.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great- great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved her flowers and garden especially her Day Lilies and her many varieties of Iris. She raised chickens, Brittany Spaniels, and German Shorthair bird dogs. She was a member of the Burnham General Baptist Church and a member of the former Willow Springs Garden Club. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by her children, Ron (Sharon) White of Willow Springs, Vera (Wes) Nall of Neosho, MO; Deon (Linda) White of Okeechobee, FL; and Tom (Phyllis) White also of Willow Springs.
She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Mike (Kay) White of Willow Springs; Rhonda (Ron)White Whittington Hulland of Lake of the Ozarks; Melanie (Nall) Haseltine of Springfield, MO; Robyn (Colonel Brad) Nall Welch of Radcliff, KY; Lisa (Scott) White McCann Bracy of Ozark, MO; Shannon (Jeff) White North of West Plains; Amanda (John) White Hayes of Douglas, GA; Staff Sgt. James T (Jackie, Hazlehurst, GA) White, USAF stationed in Kuwait; Cody (Sandy) White of Hazlehurst, GA; thirteen great-grandchildren: Jenny (White) Martin of Willow Springs; Eric (Erin) White of West Plains; Jacob (Stephanie) Whittington of Lebanon, MO; Seth (Deb) Whittington of Springfield, MO; Brandon (Danetta) Whittington of Willow Springs; Joey Welch of Radcliff, KY; Liz Haseltine of Springfield, MO; Braden McCann of Springfield, MO; Caitlin McCann of Springfield, MO; Atlas Bennett of Douglas, GA; Jace and Jarett White of Hazlehurst, GA; Myer North of West Plains, MO. She is further survived by nine great-great grandchildren: Caleb Martin, Issac, Rowan, Alana and Thomas White, Ethan Whittington, Bella Whittington, Abbi Whittington and Ashlyn Whittington and one niece Wilma (Stovall) Eisenman of Riverview, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Loyd; brother, Albert; sister, Elsie; grandsons Richard Loyd White, John David White, and Lester White, and great-granddaughter Ashley Haseltine.
A Visitation for Mrs. White will be held Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 6pm-8pm at the Willow Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 6, 2015 at 3pm at Willow Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, Pomona, MO.
