Earl Welch, 64, of Steele, died Feb. 24, 1993 at his residence. Born Jan. 9, 1929 at Steele, he was the son of Luther and Katie Welch. He was an Army veteran and a former machinist at McDonnell Douglas.
He is survived by two sons, Rick Welch of Blytheville and Billy Welch of Hayti; Two sisters, Dola Burton and Evelyn Melton, both of Steele; And four grandchildren.
Services were Feb. 27 at 3 p.m. at Bradshaw's German-Aumon Funeral Home chapel in Steele, the Rev. Mark Bryant officiatin, with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
