William G. Pounds was born September 17, 1867 in Gibson County, Tennessee, and died October 19, 1933, at the age of 66 years, 1 month and 1 day. He came to Missouri 18 years ago.
Mr. Pounds was united in marriage to Tennie Bowen March 4, 1888. To this union was born eight children of which three survive him, namely Mrs. Garvin Wilson, Mrs. Minnie Overton and Mrs. Juanita Hendrix. Eight grandchildren and a host of friends are also left to mourn his departure
