Virginia Mae Cannon, 86, of Steele, Mo., died Sunday, January 22, 2006, at River Oaks Care Center in Steele.
Born Sept. 24, 1919, in Dardanelle, Ark., daughter of the late William Thomas and Maudie Dumond Cannon, she was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith.
Survivors include two sisters, Jewell Pugh, of Holland, Mo., and Margaret Pontius, of Muskegon, Mich.
She was preceded in death by two infant sisters and two brothers, William Everett and Ralph Eugene Cannon.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today, Tuesday, Jan. 24, at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Steele with John Mundy officiating.
Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Steele with Powell Funeral Home in charge of services.
Pallbearers were Therron Nowlin, Roy Fullerton, John Mundy and Eldridge Gray.
