Samuel G. Everhart, a well knawn [sic] farmer, and resident of Adair county for more than 60 years, was found dead in his field at his home last Friday afternoon. Mr. Everhart was an industrious, high-class citizen, highly esteemed by all who knew him. Mr. Everhart leaves besides his wife four children, Mrs. S.L. Eggert, Glen Everhart, Jake Everhart and Forrest Everhart. The last named lived with his parents. Funeral took place from the home of his daughter Mrs. S.L Eggert, 526 North Baitimore [sic] street, Sunday afternoon at 2:30. Funeral service was conducted by Rev. W.B. Christy. Burial in Llewellyn cemetery.
