KELLOGG - Little Ross, son of W.J. and Susan S. Kellogg, Aug. 19th, 1887, aged 13 months and 19 days.

This is a sad affliction indeed to these parents and the five little brothers and one sister. Little Ross came to his death in a very peculiar way, by falling from a keg or small barrel. He was just the age to be specially interesting and a comfort to his parents and brothers and sisters. But we weep not as those that have no hope. He has gone to be with the redeemed and happy in heaven. His funeral sermon was preached at the home, Aug. 20th, after which he was laid away to await the great resurrection morn. May God greatly bless these sorrowing ones.
