Married first to John Wimber in 1882. She is buried with him.

They were the parents of 9 known children (there may have been 10):

After John Wimber died in 1901, Julia remmaried to James P. Pinkerton in 1906. James was 20 years older than Julia, and a widower. They had 2 children together;

1) Minnie E. Pinkerton (1907-1944)
2) Eugene P. Pinkerton (1908-1974)

James Pinkerton died in 1913. Julia then married W. Whittom.
