WASHBURN, Mo. — Connie Lee Ellis, 73, of Washburn, Mo., formerly of Bentonville, passed away Sunday, Oct. 2, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.

She was born Aug. 9, 1938, at Pea Ridge, to Willis Wesley Keene and Hettie Leora Johnson Keene. She graduated from Pea Ridge High School in 1956, was a homemaker and loved to collect angels and hummingbirds.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Washburn and is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Jimmy Ellis, of the home, who she married Jan. 24, 1964; one daughter, Lana Patterson and Jim of Bentonville; one son, Kently Ellis and Valerie of Washburn; one sister, Kathryn Ellis of Washburn; two brothers, Billie Wes Keene and Leona of Seligman, Mo., and Willis Keene and Margie of Pea Ridge; eight grandchildren, Casey, Breana and Darrell Patterson, Lloyd, Kelsey and Kaylen Ellis, and James and William Barnett; and 15 nieces and nephews.

Funeral is set for 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6 at First Baptist Church in Washburn, with Pastor Glenn Erwin and Pastor Jim Erwin officiating. Burial will be at Dent Cemetery near Washburn.

Visitation is set for 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
