Mrs. Jamie Lynn Ellis, 57, of Rogers, Arkansas, formerly of Jane, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, in the comfort of her home.
Jamie entered this life on September 3, 1963, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, born to the union of James and Carol Sue (McMillion) McClary. She resided in Oklahoma City and Tulsa before moving to Rogers, Arkansas, where she graduated from Rogers High School in 1981. On October 19, 1981, she was united in marriage to Quinton Ellis and together they have shared the last thirty-nine years. They resided in Jane, Missouri for twenty-five years, later moving to Rogers, Arkansas, in 2013. She was owner/operator of Steam Explorers in Rogers. Jamie enjoyed fishing, crocheting, decorating for Christmas and spending countless hours with her family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol McClary; four grandchildren, Joshua, Jonathan, Mark and Patrick Ellis; a daughter in-law, Shannon Ellis; two sisters, Janea and Jana McClary; and two brothers, Jansen and Jack McClary.
Jamie is survived by her husband, Quinton Ellis of the home; three children, Josh Ellis and wife, Tresa, of Rogers, Scott Ellis and wife, Nastasja, of Pea Ridge and Sarah Graber and husband, Tony, of Springdale; five grandchildren; her father, James McClary of Bella Vista; two brothers, Jimmy McClary of Chickasha, Oklahoma and Johnny McClary of Pineville; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 10, 2021, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Larry Graber officiating. Burial will follow in the Jane Cemetery. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Scott Ellis, Josh Ellis, Chris Ellis, Dylan Ellis, Tony Graber and Braydon Smith.
