Mrs. Pearl Simmons, 21, died at the St. Joseph Hospital in Memphis Saturday night after undergoing an operation for appendicitis on Thursday night.
Mrs. Simmons is survived by her husband, Bill Simmons, and a young baby, her mother, Mrs. Mittie Hampton; two sisters, Mrs. FloydBbrooks and Mrs. George Hampton; two brothers: Tommie and Claud Hampton, besides a host of other relatives and friends.
Burial was made in Mount Zion Cemetery Monday afternoon with German Undertaking Company in charge.
