Funeral services for Dorothy Bell, 85, of West Plains were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 11, 2006, in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Mrs. Bell died at 8:18 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006, at her home. She was born Aug. 21, 1921, in Pecos, Texas, to Ottis and Flavia Ramirez Harrell. On Feb. 19, 1966, she was married at Winterhaven, Calif., to Harold Bell. Mrs. Bell was the co-owner and operator of H.B. Boot Corral. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church of Willow Springs. She is survived by her husband, Harold Bell, of the family home; four children, Roxanne Rupar of Pomona, Mo., David Vargas and wife, Deborah, of East Wenatchee, Wash., Doug Vargas and wife, Annie, of West Plains, Judy Kasso and husband, Jay, of Tuscon, Ariz.; 18 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Ellis Harrell; sisters, Aleta Harrell and Orpha Samsa; and several nieces and nephews. Her parents, one sister, and one brother precede her in death. Burial was in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery.
