William Franklin Morgan, retired farmer of Gobler Star Route died July 17, 1961 at age 81 years, 8 months and 7 days.
Mr. Morgan was born in Tennessee on November 10, 1879. He had lived in this community for 27 years.
Services were at German Funeral Home chapel on July 19, at 10:00 a.m. Interment was at Mount Zion Cemetery, German Funeral Home in charge.
Rev. Jack Ginn officiated.
Survivors include his wife, Nellie May Morgan of Gobler, three sons, Tommy of Benton Harbor, Mich., Jesse and J.P. of Gobler, and 17 grandchildren and one great grandson.
Pallbearers were Doss Lawson, Everette Dicker, Clifford Matthews, Charles Williams, Delbert Morris and Pete Dawson.
