Funeral services were held January 20, 1965 for Mrs. Emily Virginia Wood of St. Louis, formerly of Steele, who died January 16, 1965. She was born May 25, 1923.
Rev. Jack Ginn conducted the services at the Missionary Baptist Church in Rives. Burial was at Mount Zion Cemetery, German Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Wood leaves her husband, Luther Wood of St. Lois; a son, Charles E. Wood, and two daughters, Carolyn Wood and Mrs. Frances Trimble, all of St. Louis; and a daughter, Mrs. Nina Ann Moser of Ventura, Calif.; a brother, Charles Brasher of Rives; a sister, Mary Chandler, of St. Louis; and six grandchildren.
