Colitis was attributed as the cause of death of Carl Allison, Jr., of near Holland, who died July 5, 1939 in the St. Joseph Hospital in Memphis, where he had been taken two weeks ago for treatment.
The little boy was born November 30, 1937 and at the time of his death was 19 months ago.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Allison, and a sister, Johnnie Allison, of San Antonio, Texas, who at the time of his death was visiting relatives in Tennessee, and arrived here Wednesday night to attend funeral services. Also his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Allison of Manila, Ark., and Mr. and Mrs. C.T. Henderson of Holland, survive. The sympathy of this community is extended to the family in the death of Carl, Jr.
Funeral services are being held this afternoon (Thursday) at the Baptist Church in Holland by the pastor, Rev. C.E. Tharp. Burial is being made in Mt. Zion Cemetery. German Undertaking Co. has charge of arrangements.
