Tony Allison, 60, of Holland, died Friday, January 1, 2010 in Holland.

Born July 29, 1949 in Missouri, he is the son of the late Ara Lee Allison and Dora Taylor Allison.

He was preceded in death by one grandson, Dylan Anthony Carroll; two brothers, Charles and Lester Allison; and three sisters, Tilda Wiseman, Mildred Southard, and Mary Lou Scott.

Tony was united in marriage to Wanda Burns on December 30, 1968 in Caruthersville.

He was employed by Milwaukee Tool as a Supervisor until it closed and then he was the owner/operator of Tony's Barbeque in Blytheville, Ark.

Mr. Allison leaves his wife, Wanda Allison of the home; one son, Anthony Allison of Blytheville; two daughters: Tracie Floyd of Caruthersville and Sissy Carroll of Daphne, Ala.; four brothers: Chuck Allison of Memphis, Tenn.; Kenneth Allison of Fenton, Mo., and Bill and Jessie Allison, all of Steele; four sisters: Ruth Carlton of Steele, Glenda Winters of Tennessee, Dora Hays of Memphis, and Etta Gray of Florida; and nine grandchildren: Keith Floyd, Cameron Floyd, Christian Floyd, Sassy Floyd, Ryan Putman, Ricky Carroll, Jr., Damian Carroll, Bailey Carroll and Amanda Allison.

Funeral services for Mr. Allison were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark White officiating. Burial was at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.

Pallbearers were: Shane Burns, Ronnie Carlton, Kenny Coutant, Keith Floyd, Robert Cameron, and Brock Robinson.
