William Thomas Yarbrough of Steele, 67 years of age, died at the Walls Hospital in Blytheville Tuesday morning at 3 o'clock following a brief illness. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Baptist church in Denton, with the Rev. Lago Pinkston in charge. Burial was in Mt. Zion cemetery in Steele.
Mr. Yarbrough was born in Olive Hill, Tenn., July 1, 1874, and moved to Steele in December, 1918. He married Miss Louisa Harbour in Savannah, Tenn., in 1892. Seven children survive: Mrs. Leila James, Mrs. June Thompson, Earl Yarbrough, Mrs. Octie Vaughn, and Mrs. Pearl Ferguson, all of Steele; Mrs. Jennie Mae McCawer of Sikeston; and Mirl Yarbrough of Truman, Ark.
Pall bearers were: C.A. Piercey, John Murray, Luther Doris, W.E. Wright, Claude Bromley, and E.E. Overturf.

Steele, Mo.-Funeral services were held at Denton for W.T. Yarbrough, 74, who died Tuesday at the Walls Hospital in Blytheville, where he was taken a short while earlier. The services were conducted by the Rev. Pinkston of Holland and interment was in Mt. Zion cemetery.
Mr. Yarbrough was born in Savannah, Tenn. July 1, 1867 and during his residence there he was married to Miss Louisa Harbor at Savannah. They moved to Pemiscot county in 1918 and his wife preceded him in death seven years ago.
Seven children survive: Mrs. Jennie Mae McCarver of Truman, Ark., Mrs. Lella James, Mrs. Irene Thompson, Earl Yarbrough, Mrs. Octie Barnes and Mrs. Pearl Ferguson, all of near Steele.
