Bobby Gene George, 69, of Shake Rag, Mo., died Wednesday, January 6, 2010 in Rochester, Minn.
Born October 16, 1940 in Steele, he is the son of the late Frank George and Amy May Volner George. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy George and James Harold George.
Bobby was united in marriage to Glenda Thornton.
He served his country in the United States Army National Guard. He was a mason and graduate of Braggadocio High School Class of 1959.
Mr. George leaves behind his wife, Glenda George, of the home; one brother, Jacky George and his wife, Wynema, of Shake Rag; one nephew, Jerry George of Shake Rag; and one niece, Regina Hays, of Blytheville, Ark.
Funeral services for Mr. George were held at 2 p.m, Monday, January 11, 2010 at the Braggadocio Baptist Church in Braggadocio with Rev. Joe Smith officiating.
Burial was at the Mount Zion Cemetery in Steele with Powell Funeral Home in charge of services.
