Amy Mae Volner George, 82, died Friday, February 16, 1990 at Memphis, Tenn.
Daughter of the late Robert and Birdie Goodman Volner, she was born May 19, 1907 at Dyer County, Tenn.
A member of the Braggadocio (Mo.) Baptist Church, she was a homemaker.
On March 15, 1933 in Osceola, Ark., she married Frank George, who preceded her in death on October 24, 1977.
She leaves two sons: Bobby George and Jacky George, both of Steele, Mo.; a brother, Johnny Volner, De Valls Bluff, Ark.; one grandson, Jerry George, of Steele; a granddaughter, Regina Watkins, of Steele; and one great-granddaughter, Angie Gray, of Steele.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, February 19, 1990 at 10:00 by Rev. Bill Luttrell at Bradshaw's German-Aumon Chapel in Steele.
Burial was at Mount Zion Cemetery near Steele, with arrangements by German-Aumon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Truman Larue, Archie Lack, Max Bryant, Miles Lewis, Paul Jordan, and Wayne Jordan.
