Wiley B. Laster, 81, of Steele, Mo., died Friday, May 13, 1994, at the River Oaks Nursing Home in Steele.
Born June 13, 1912 in Tyler, Mo., Mr. Laster was a retired farmer and a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church.
His wife, two sisters, and one brother preceded him in death.
Mr. Laster leaves six sons: Jerry Wayne Laster, Jack Vernon Laster, and Roland Laster, all three of Kennett, Mo., Joe Babe Laster of Jonesboro, Ark., Wiley Eugene Laster of Avon Park, Fla., and Bobby Jo Laster of Fla.; Two daughters: Billie Jean Short of Dell, Ark. and Linda Diane Biggs of Bragg City, Mo.; One sister, Ella, of California; One brother, William Laster, of Pontotoc, Miss.; Twenty-two grandchildren; and Twenty-three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Laster were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 1994, at the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Blytheville, Ark., with Dr. Tommy J. Carney officiating.
Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with Cobb Funeral Home of Blytheville, Ark., in charge.
