Mrs. Lula Curry White, 78, died March 8, 1967 at the General Baptist Rest Home in Campbell, Mo. She was born September 4, 1888 in Cooter. She had been a resident of this community for most of her life.
Funeral services were held Friday, March 10 at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in stele with the Rev. L. A. Crews officiating.
Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery with John W. German Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Bert Wells, Tom Allbritton, C. J. Oliver, Quentin Still, Charles Frazier, and Leroy Nichols.
She leaves three sons: W.B. Sanford, Memphis; Roscoe Curry, Memphis; and Lloyd Curry, Liberty, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Flora M. Taylor, Memphis; and Mrs. Helen Wilson, Memphis; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
